Halloween Parade

There will be a Halloween Parade on Saturday from 5:30 to 6:30.  Families are encouraged to dress in costume and parade from Polaris at 64th Place, to Ranchview, to Elm and loop back up Polaris.  Homeowners can decorate their lawns, backs of their cars (like trunk or treat), and/or set up a table near the street with candy or toss it into the street to the kids.  Social Distance and Masks required.

Fort in Outlot near 65th Place North

The fort and materials near 65th Place North (across from Basswood Park) will be removed and disposed on Saturday, October 24th. 

Before we dispose of the property, we wanted to allow the potential owners a chance to pick up the content.

Garbage Collection Options

Hello Neighbors - Some neighbors have expressed interest in having Tuckaweye utilize one waste removal company to limit the large truck traffic in our neighborhood.  Here are a couple options the Board has identified that could potentially save you money and limit the traffic in our neighborhood.  
**Kaleb from Curbside Waste was canvasing the neighborhood last week offering a 90 gallon can for $15/month inclusive of all taxes and fees.  His number is 435.233.7209
**Randy's was able to price match Curbside Waste with a 1 year commitment.  Their number is 763.972.3335
Please note these are only suggestions that could save you a few dollars.  The Board is not requiring homeowners to change vendors.  

2020 HOA Dues

Home Improvements Reminders

Hello Neighbors - We are seeing many houses getting new siding and/or roof.  Please remember that *all* changes to the exterior of your home (i.e. roof, siding, windows, etc.) need to be reviewed by the Board and the Architectural Review Committee to ensure the continuity of the neighborhood per the bylaws.  Please email board@tuckaweye.com with any changes you're making to the exterior of your home.

ARTICLE VI: ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL: Section l: Structures

No building, pool, fence, wall, deck or other structure shall be commenced, erected or maintained upon the Properties, nor shall any exterior addition to, or change or alteration therein be made until the plans and specifications showing the nature, kind, shape, height, materials and location of the same shall have been submitted to and approved in writing as to harmony of external design and location in relation to surrounding structures and topography by the Board of Directors of the Association, or by an architectural committee composed of three (3) or more representatives appointed by the Board.

Mailbox Installation

Hello Neighbors!  
A sample mailbox has been installed at 6430 Polaris if you'd like to see an example.  Mike, our contractor, has received all the supplies and has begun building the units at his shop.  We expect all mailboxes to be installed in the next few weeks if the weather cooperates.

June 4, 2019 All Member Meeting Mailbox Questions Answered

1) What font styles are available to choose from? When can we begin looking at the vinyl numbers styles? Can extra vinyl numbers be supplied for future use (fading etc)?

Answer:  Spartan Inc will source a sign vendor near Plymouth/Maple Grove Area for review. The vendor will retain our information for future orders.  Extra numbers will have to be reprinted as needed so having extras on hand is not practical.

2) Does Spartan provide maintenance service work in the future for the mailboxes?

Answer: Spartan will be available for future maintenance work as requested.  Work orders will only be billed outside of the 3 year workmanship and materials warranty.

3) The current design proved difficult to maintain with cedar stain between the mailboxes.  Rusted screws also could not be replaced.  Do you have any design ideas that could address these issues?

Answer: Stainless steel screws will be used to minimize replacement as an issue.  Mailboxes will be arranged to have them wide enough to brush/stain between.
